Meet Dr. Chad Curtis
Chad Curtis, DDS is the oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Delray Oral Surgery — an independently owned practice in Delray Beach.
Chad Curtis, DDS, is board certified and is a diplomat and fellow of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
From Cincinnati to the Intracoastal
Dr. Curtis was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences at the University of South Carolina. Before dental school he lived for three months in San Ramón, Costa Rica.
He received his D.D.S. from Columbia University. At Columbia he did bone grafting research and developed a focus on oral and maxillofacial surgery and bone augmentation, including the use of growth factors and stem cells to rebuild the jaw for implants.
He completed oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the University of Cincinnati. After residency he practiced in a large oral surgery group in Cincinnati. He later moved to Delray Beach to be closer to family and opened this independent practice.

How he practices
When Dr. Curtis treats his patients, an incredible amount of effort is put into planning and performing surgery at the absolute highest standard of care. That is why he uses premium implants, bone graft, sutures, and instruments. Surgery is only half the job. Every patient gets his personal cell phone number, and communication is of the utmost importance. He stays in close contact with the referring dentist and the rest of the treatment team so that each and every plan is built around the individual patient. His philosophy is simple: treat every patient the way he would want a family member treated.
Outside the operatory
He enjoys being outdoors, teaching piano to his daughter, and traveling with his wife, Brianna.
